Di graduated from the Middlesex Hospital in London over 27 years ago. She gained her first experience in sports injuries by working with the Arsenal FC club doctor at his clinic for 5 years.

She set up her own Physio & Sports Injuries Clinics within Notting Hill Sports Centre and was subsequently asked to be the club physio for Thames Valley Harriers Athletic Club. This involved treating and rehabilitating the elite athletes both at training and competitions, and travelling with the team to races all over the UK and Europe.

Di became the personal physio to Linford Christie shortly after this, and was with him for 8 years, during which time he won his Olympic gold medal in Barcelona. Working with Linford also gave her the chance to work with other top Olympians including Colin Jackson, Tessa Sanderson and Darren Campbell.

When Linford retired from elite level athletics, Di was taken on as the physio for the pro basketball team London Towers. For over 3 years she was with the players both at home matches at Wembley Stadium, and away at training camps and matches in the UK and Europe.

Di relocated to Formby 17 years ago and joined Paul Chadwick, the former Liverpool FC physio, at his clinic in Formby. She was with him for 5 years before taking over The Halton Physio Clinic in Widnes, and setting up Skelmersdale Physio Clinic in West Lancashire.

Wishing to start her own base in Formby, she opened up the Physio & Sports Injuries Clinic at Formby Hall Golf Club 6 years ago, before embarking on a fantastic and exciting project setting up Formby Wellness in 2012.
